Norway welcomes everyone and offers good support for integration. Here is what you need to know:
Important steps in integration

| 2. Bank account | Open an account — requires personnummer |
| 3. GP (fastlege) | Your regular doctor — free to change |
| 4. Norwegian course | Free for refugees — compulsory to attend |
| 5. Introduction Programme | 2 years of Norwegian language and work practice |
| 6. Job or education | The goal of the integration process |
| 7. Norwegian citizenship | Possible after 7 years — requires a Norwegian language test |
