Adjectives describe nouns. Here are the most common adjectives and how they are used:
Common adjectives

How adjectives change
Rule: neuter gets -t, definite and plural get -e

| Neuter | stort | et stort hus — a big house |

Tip
Norwegian adjective agreement is simpler than German — only three forms to remember: base, neuter (-t) and definite/plural (-e)!
